Inference purchase agreements priced against the independent benchmark rather than a vendor's list. Buyer and seller fix the volume, the clause moves the price based on the relevant Attic Standard index, published or tailored, and both sides settle on a number neither of them controls but both trust.
For each Settlement Period, the Unit Rate (Ratet) shall equal the Contract Rate (Rate0) multiplied by the ratio of the Reference Index level published for that period (Indext) to the Reference Index level published on the Effective Date (Index0), provided that the Unit Rate shall neither fall below the Floor nor exceed the Cap. The Reference Index is the Attic Standard index named in Schedule A, as published at atticstandard.com.
